The University of Cambridge is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university. Mortal Kombat is a video game franchise that requires no introduction. Age of Empires II is one of the most beloved real-time strategy games of all time. "The Adventures of Asterix" is a beloved French comics series originally written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo (until Goscinny's death in 1977). The series follows the adventures of Asterix, Obelix and a village of indomitable Gauls as they resist Roman occupation under Julius Caesar in 50 BC. They do so by means of a magic potion brewed by their druid Getafix which temporarily gives them superhuman strength. Many of the stories have Asterix, Obelix, Dogmatix and sometimes Getafix travel to foreign countries, though others are set in and around their village. For most of the series, settings in Gaul and abroad were alternated, with even-numbered volumes being set abroad and odd-numbered volumes being set in Gaul, mostly in the village and the surrounding Roman camps. Asterix continues to be one of the most popular comics in the world and has been translated into over 100 languages! The success of the series has led to 13 films: nine animated, and four live action. There have also been a number of games based on the characters, and a theme park near Paris called Parc Astérix. In 2013, a new team consisting of Jean-Yves Ferri (script) and Didier Conrad (artwork) took over the work of creating and publishing new volumes from Uderzo. Even with the premier of Season 8 of HBO's Game of Thrones on April 14th 2019, after all of these years, it is still virtually impossible to guess which contender for the Throne will end up on top, if anyone. Of all the contenders, there are several plausible theories about who will be sitting on the Iron Throne when the series finally concludes. As Cersei Lannister famously remarked - "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die." And die they did, breaking many fan's hearts and shocking viewers with gore, twists and turns. We do have some clues from the way Season 7 ended. A temporary truce was forged between the major houses to fight off the danger of the Night King and the White Walkers to the North. So will Jon Snow, the reluctant King in the North and the heir apparent of Rhaegar Targaryen, sit on the throne? Or will it be his newfound lover (and aunt) Daenerys, who has devoted every waking moment and the full might of her Dragons to that mission since the end of Season 1. Or will Cersei and her machinations prevail against all odds and the prophecy of the Valonqar? And since this is Game of Thrones, you can never count out a wildcard winner either. Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul (1 January 1956 – 22 January 2019) was a Bangladeshi lyricist, composer and music director, active since the late 1970s. He was a freedom fighter who joined the Bangladesh Liberation War at the age of 15. He won a number of awards, including Ekushey Padak, National Film Awards and the President's Award. Bulbul joined the Bangladesh Liberation war in 1971 when he was 15 years old. He served in a Mukti Bahini base in Zinzira. His older brother, Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed Tutul, served in the Crack Platoon of the Mukti Bahini. He trained in India and fought in Lalbagh Thana and New Market Thana of Dhaka. In October, he was captured by Pakistan military and Razakars while returning to India for more training.He was transferred to a jail in Mymensigh were he was tortured and witnessed the mass execution of 39 Mukti Bahini prisoners by the Pakistan military. He transferred to the resident of Dana Miah which served as the local office of the East Pakistan Central Peace Committee. He was tortured there along with other members of the Mukti Bahini. He was able to escape from the camp. Awards: Ekushey Padak (2010) National Film Awards (2001, 2005) Bulbul was taken to Universal Medical College and Hospital in Dhaka around 6:15am, where the doctors, after necessary tests, declared him dead. He had suffered cardiac arrest.
