Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior (Portuguese pronunciation: [nejˈmaʁ dɐ ˈsiwvɐ ˈsɐ̃tus ˈʒũɲoʁ]; born 5 February 1992), commonly known as Neymar or Neymar Jr., is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. Neymar came into prominence at an early age at Santos, where he made his professional debut aged 17. He helped the club win two successive Campeonato Paulista championships, a Copa do Brasil, and the 2011 Copa Libertadores, Santos' first continental title since 1963. Neymar was twice named the South American Footballer of the Year, in 2011 and 2012, before relocating to Europe to join Barcelona. As part of Barça's attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, he won the continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League in the 2014–15 season, followed the next year by the domestic double. He came third for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2015. In August 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in a transaction worth €222 million, making him the world's most expensive player.[note 1] With 53 goals in 83 matches for Brazil since debuting at age 18, Neymar is the fourth-highest goalscorer for his national team. He was a key player in Brazil's victories at the 2011 South American Youth Championship, which he finished as the leading goalscorer, and the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he won the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. His participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2015 Copa América was cut short by injury and a suspension respectively, but the next year he captained Brazil to their first Olympic gold medal in men's football at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Known for his dribbling, finishing, and ability with both feet, Neymar has earned comparisons to former Brazil and Santos forward Pelé. Off the pitch, he ranks among the world's most prominent sportsmen; SportsPro named him the most marketable athlete in the world in 2012 and 2013, and ESPN cited him as the world's fourth-most famous athlete in 2016.
Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira (born 2 October 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team as an attacking midfielder, forward or winger. After starting his career with Figueirense in 2009, he spent four-and-a-half seasons at Hoffenheim. His 16 goals in 33 games for the 2013–14 Bundesliga season earned him the award for the league's Breakthrough Player. In July 2015, he signed for Premier League club Liverpool. Firmino made his international debut for Brazil in November 2014 and represented the nation at the 2015 Copa América.
Gabriel Fernando de Jesus (born 3 April 1997), commonly known as Gabriel Jesus (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɡabɾiˈew ʒɛˈzus]), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team. Jesus began his career at Palmeiras. He was voted the best newcomer of the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, a year in which he also helped his team win the Copa do Brasil. The following year he was named the player of the season as Palmeiras won their first national league title in 22 years. He joined Premier League club Manchester City in January 2017 for a transfer fee of €32 million. Jesus has represented Brazil youth teams at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where they reached the final, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics, as they defeated Germany in the final.He made his senior debut for Brazil in September 2016.

Paulinho has been described as a box-to-box midfielder, with powerful running and good movement into the box. He also offers a useful presence in set piece situations at both ends of the pitch.
Philippe Coutinho Correia (Brazilian Portuguese: [fiˈlipi kowˈtʃĩɲu]; born 12 June 1992) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Spanish club Barcelona and the Brazilian national team. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Coutinho showed prodigious talent and excelled in Vasco da Gama's youth system. He was signed by Italian side Internazionale in 2008 for €4 million and subsequently loaned back to Vasco, where he became a key player. Willian started his career at Corinthians, before joining Shakhtar in August 2007 for a fee of €14 million. In his six years at the club, he won honours including five Ukrainian Premier League titles and the UEFA Cup in 2009. In 2013, he briefly signed for Anzhi Makhachkala before joining Chelsea for £30 million, winning the Premier League and League Cup in his second season in England. Willian made his debut for Brazil in 2011 and represented the country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2015 Copa América and the Copa América Centenario.
Danilo Luiz da Silva (born 15 July 1991), known simply as Danilo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester City as a right back. He began his career with América Mineiro before moving to Santos, where he scored the goal that won the 2011 Copa Libertadores. In January 2012 he moved to Porto, where he won consecutive Primeira Liga titles, and signed for Real Madrid for €31.5 million in 2015; two years later, he joined Manchester City. Danilo was first capped by the senior Brazil team in 2011, also winning the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic tournament.

After moving to Europe to join Milan in 2009, Silva established himself as one of the highest rated defenders in the world, winning the Serie A title with the Rossoneri in the 2010–11 season. Alisson began his career at Internacional, where he made over 100 appearances and won the Campeonato Gaúcho in each of his four seasons at the club. Fernando Luiz Roza (born 4 May 1985), or simply Fernandinho (Brazilian Portuguese: [feʁnɐ̃ˈdʒĩj̃u]; meaning "Little Fernando"), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the Brazil national team. He has also captained both sides on many occasions.[3][4] Fernandinho started his career at Brazilian club Atlético Paranaense before moving to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005, where he became one of the best foreign players to ever play in the Ukraine Premier League.[5] With Shakhtar, he won six Ukrainian Premier League titles, four Ukrainian Cups and the 2008–09 UEFA Cup. He was voted by the Shakhtar Donetsk fans as the best Brazilian player to ever play for the team.[6] The scorer of the only goal in the final of the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship and a full international for Brazil since 2011, he was part of their squad which came fourth at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and also competed at the 2015 Copa América. Cássio Ramos (born 6 June 1987), simply known as Cássio, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the Brazilian Série A club Corinthians and the Brazil national team. Cássio began his career at the academy of Brazilian club Grêmio, and in shortly time playing at the academy, was promoted to the club's main team. He passed by the European clubs PSV where he won the 2007–08 Eredivisie title and the 2008 Johan Cruyff Shield title, and by the club Sparta Rotterdam, until he joined the Brazilian team Corinthians in 2012. Since joining Corinthians, Cássio has made over 300 appearances and won two Série A title, two Campeonato Paulista titles, a CONMEBOL Libertadores title, a CONMEBOL Recopa Sudamericana title and a FIFA Club World Cup title against Chelsea in 2012. Cássio won the Golden Ball as Best Player of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup and was elected as Most Valuable Player on the final.
Ederson Santana de Moraes (born 17 August 1993), known simply as Ederson, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Manchester City and Brazil national team as a goalkeeper. He started his career at São Paulo in 2008, before joining Portuguese side Benfica, one year later, where he spent two seasons as junior. In 2012, he transferred from Ribeirão to Rio Ave. He rejoined Benfica in 2015 and was assigned to the reserves before debuting for the first team, with whom he would win four major titles in two seasons. After the end of the 2016–17 season, he joined English club Manchester City for £35 million, becoming the most expensive goalkeeper of all-time in terms of the nominal value of pound sterling at the time of his transfer.
