Survivors of the Mare Vitalis (2023)

"Survivors of the Mare Vitalis" throws you into a relentless fight for survival across procedurally generated planets teeming with hostile wildlife. As a Rogue-Lite action game, your objective is to explore diverse biomes while fending off waves of aggressive creatures. The core gameplay loop revolves around destroying these threats to earn credits, which you can then use to upgrade your character and weaponry. The constant threat of death, coupled with the potential to fundamentally alter the planetary ecosystems, creates a high-stakes, action-packed experience. This game earns its place among the best Action Shooter Bullet Hell titles due to its overwhelming enemy spawns, relentless projectile barrages, and the player's need for constant movement and strategic item collection to survive. While the individual attacks might not be the focus, the sheer volume of enemies and their diverse attack patterns create a chaotic and challenging arena. The fact that the player retains progress even after death, while losing collected items, pushes the player to go further. This ensures that it maintains that core loop of action and mayhem expected of the genre.
