A Scanner Darkly (2006)

"A Scanner Darkly" (2006) follows an undercover cop in a not-too-distant future who dives headfirst into the dangerous world of Substance D, a potent new drug that unravels reality. As he infiltrates a circle of drug users and dealers, the cop, known as Bob Arctor, begins to lose his grip on his own identity, a process exacerbated by the paranoia and fragmentation caused by the drug and the technological surveillance he's involved in.
