Ninja Pizza Girl (2015)

Ninja Pizza Girl places players in the shoes of Gemma, a sixteen-year-old agile pizza delivery ninja, as she navigates a bustling future cityscape where slums precariously teeter atop towering skyscrapers. Her core mission is to uphold her father’s independent Pizzeria, delivering quality pies in a world dominated by exploitative mega-corporations. This premise sets the stage for deeply engaging parkour gameplay, demanding precision and fluid movement across a vertically expansive environment. The game boasts "flow-based gameplay" that makes every delivery a dynamic challenge of agility and momentum, perfectly capturing the essence of traversing complex urban landscapes with ninja-like grace. What elevates Ninja Pizza Girl to the list of best Action Platformer Parkour games is its innovative approach to conflict and player well-being. The "action" here is distinct, focusing on battling the most merciless of foes – other teenagers. Gemma must contend with bullies who shove, trip, and try to humiliate her, with a unique "health" system directly tied to her self-esteem. This poignant mechanic, coupled with platforming that welcomes beginners while offering significant challenges for speedrunners, as noted by critics like Rhianna Pratchett, creates a unique blend of thrilling acrobatic traversal and profound thematic depth. It's a title that delivers both exciting movement and a powerful message about resilience.
