Wanted: Dead (2023)

Wanted: Dead is a visceral hybrid slasher/shooter that plunges players into the neon-drenched underbelly of a cyberpunk Hong Kong. Developed by veterans of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, the game casts you as Lt. Hannah Stone, a hardened cop leading the elite Zombie Unit on a mission to expose a massive corporate conspiracy. Prepare for intense, brutal combat against waves of mercenaries, gang members, and technologically enhanced foes. Master a diverse arsenal of melee and ranged weaponry, from katana strikes and devastating finishers to assault rifles and grenade launchers, as you navigate a gripping storyline blending high-tech weaponry with retro 90s futurism. This title earns its spot among the best Action RPG Cyberpunk games by seamlessly blending the fast-paced action of a character-action game with RPG-lite elements. While not a traditional RPG, the game features progression through combat mastery and learning enemy patterns, as well as a strong narrative focus and world-building elements that define the cyberpunk genre. The challenging, strategic combat, coupled with the immersive dystopian setting and corporate conspiracy plot, provides an experience that resonates with fans of both action games and cyberpunk role-playing adventures.
