I've probably ruined more movie endings for myself by reading the book first than I care to admit. It's a habit I can't seem to quit. My real interest lies in how great stories get built and then remixed from page to screen - - it's the most compelling education there is. When I'm not analyzing a film's third act, you'll likely find me lost in a campus library, trying to connect the big ideas. My own plot is still a work in progress.
