Rank the Best Feluda Stories
Published on 12th Jan 2018
There is perhaps no greater Bengali detective series than the famed writer and Oscar-winning director Satyajit Ray's Feluda (ফেলুদা) series. From his humble abode in 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygonj, Kolkata, Feluda or Prodosh Chandra Mitra, (প্রদোষ চন্দ্র মিত্র) becomes a celebrated private investigator over a series of 35+ novels and short stories, traveling all over India and beyond with his cousin and ever present "satellite" Topshe (Tapesh Ranjan Mitra) and his lighthearted but dependable friend Jatayu (Lalmohan Ganguly). Replete with drama, suspense, intriguing characters and Ray's unique brand of quaint humor, Feluda stories always hold a class of their own. Starting from Feludar Goendagiri in 1965, there have been 35 complete stories which include full-length novels and short stories and 2 unfinished stories, many of which have been turned into feature films for both the big screen and television. These have included such luminaries as Soumitra Chatterjee and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and have been directed both by Satyajit Ray's son Sandip Ray and Satyajit Ray himself. Even after half a century of the publication of the first Feluda, the series still earns new fans every day. We all have our favorite stories from the series that we fondly remember and recount to each other. Which ones do you think are the best and why? Rank this list by dragging and dropping the items and hit submit to update the average. And let me and others know why you like your favorite ones in the comments below.

In ‘Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbona’ it was Parno Mitra, now it’s time for Swastika Mukherjee! Anjan Dutt makes another bold movie. The official trailer of his musical project ‘Aami Ashbo Phirey’ has already been released and has Swastika, newcomer Darshana Banik, Anindya Chatterjee and Koushik Sen along with director himself. Swastika simply incorporates a classy appeal to her evergreen sari look along with her great acting prowess. She has previously worked with Anjan in 'Byomkesh O Agnibaan’.It's been 11 long years since Anjan has worked with his son Neel. ‘Aami Ashbo Phirey’ is among the 25 projects announced by SVF Entertainment Pvt Ltd last month. The production house will reportedly spend a staggering Rs 100 crore to produce all the 25 films. Dutt has a knack for musicals. But he has managed to diversify his preferred theme in recent projects. The director of ‘The Bong Connection’ (2006), ‘Madly Bangalee’ (2009), and ‘Chowrasta: Crossroads Of Love’ (2009) has now returned to his traditional musical roots. The story of the film reportedly follows a journey through pain and loneliness while music being the sole hope to inspire the characters to forgive, forget and move on. Reports suggest that the film will introduce seven songs that are believed to have played a significant role in Dutt’s personal life so far. ‘Aami Ashbo Phirey’ will hit the theatres on April 27 . Best Age of Empires II Civilizations
Published on 20th Nov 2017
Age of Empires II is one of the most beloved real-time strategy games of all time. Developed by Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft in 1999 as a sequel to the legendary Age of Empires, the game received "universal acclaim" upon release and remains a staple for RTS fans to this day. Since its initial release as Age of Empires II: Age of Kings, four expansions to the game and an HD remake has also been produced - Age of Empires II: The Conquerors (2000), Age of Empires II: HD Edition (2013), Age of Empires II HD: The Forgotten (2013) (based on the fan-made Forgotten Empires), Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms (2015) and Age of Empires II HD: Rise of the Rajas (2016). At the heart of the award-winning gameplay of AOE 2 are the civilizations that players are able to choose to play with. In addition to their distinct art and play style, these civilizations have their unique set of advantages and disadvantages which are based fundamentally on a "rock-paper-scissors" architecture. This delicate balance of strengths and weaknesses extends all the way up from the overarching meta-strategy (e.g. economic boom beats defensive gameplay which in turn beats early rush strategy) down to individual units (e.g, infantry are generally powerful against buildings but weak against cavalry, thus the infantry counter units—spearmen and pikemen—have attack bonuses against cavalry). Because of the attention paid towards making each civilization as balanced as possible, any discussion of the relative ranking of these civilizations in terms of overall strength is often hotly contested. Now is the time to put all of that debate to rest - this list contains all the civilizations and their specialties in Age of Empires II and all its expansions. Rank these in the order of best to worst and let's find out what everyone thinks on average. Happy ranking and Wololo! Source(s): Age of Empires Wikia and Wikipedia
